@Abz90L what about the sound does it weak or just normal..do you need to use earphones or you can ear without them?
I’m about to buy want but I personally hate laptops with weak sound

But Nokia Pc Suit doesn’t work on Ubuntu or WINE. Nor Video Skype, or TOMTOM gps software (or Garmin for that matter). All the alternatives are not ideal. However I do have ubuntu installed as a virtual machine because other than the software that is always needed (as above) the other free software is awesome.
eg klogic, blue proximity, cairo dock, open office, gimp, etc etc.

yes i have actually. The laptop is great for its mobility, and battery life. I wouldnt say its slow, but its not fast either. The video card on the laptop is weak aswell, so you cannot play high quality videos, without having it to lag.
Its a good netbook, however, it does have some downsides. It all depends on what you’re gonna use it for really.

You already got your laptop? What do you think about it? Just curious, you posted that 7 months ago so have you already got it?

Thanks for this video. I personally use Suse but Fedora is a close 2nd for me. I’ve been looking for a good netbook, and this video has convinced me to which one I’ll be getting. To u window users out there, I use to be just like you, until I took a step out of the box. Good luck picking what “flavor”of windows 7 u may need. I’ll stick to my better running, freely upgradeable, can do anything that windows and mac can do, O.S.

Problem with Linux is its just to dam cartoony looking. big spaces between buttons, big buttons etc looks aweful!

i havent switched my windows xp or vista machine net servers off for over a year and they too run fine like the first day of booting. but i also can run any and all games release, can your toy do that? ;)

    Read my response again…

“because windows is garbage as S.O.?” (sorry for mispelling, it’s O.S.)

I don’t have dual boot, my 3 partitions are ext3, I can run windows only programs like Photoshop with wine really fine, and so?, for me, windows it’s useless. I forgot the last time i rebooted my machine(5 months?) and runs like the first day with my beloved software. Can your toy do that?.

  12. boatfreak says:

common you know that aint true, nobody can live without windows. Linux is just for the dual boot. Everyone has windows as a backup becouse some programs just don’t work on linux =(
