How do I download images from my mobile onto my laptop?
I have a Nokia 6080 mobile phone with a camera. I want to download images from it onto my laptop. It does not have bluetooth. I have tried calling Nokia tech support, but gave up waiting. (service is, as usual, awful to non existent!!) Would I have to get supportive software to load onto the laptop?

Use the USB cable which came with the phone. Just plug it into your laptop and phone and download away…
If you have vista it should work automatically without the software. You obviously need the correct cable.

you can either do it through the nokia data cable which is cheap or else bluetooth………install the nokia PC suite and then connect the phone through data cable or bluetooth,its very simple………the rest will guide you through……….blah blah blah enjoy dude
there are 2 ways that I know of, you can either do it trough a usb connection that hooks up from your phone to your computer or you can email them to yourself.
you need nokia pc suite it is free to download just type in google, and if you don’t have bluetooth, you can send by infrared or get a usb cable and connect it to laptop and using nokia pc suite transfer pictures from your mobile to your laptop
on your mobile, send the photo to your email address. then when you check your emails you can save the pic.
i got a “postage stamp” sized pic on my mobile screen, but when I transferred it to laptop it was much better
Read your instruction book and it should say about connecting to your computer.
most phones have a usb cable that plugs your phone into your computer if you have one plug it into the computer and click on my computer and it should be there if you haven`t here is a link of one:

Your phone probably came with a CD, install it and plug your phone in via the USB port.
The best way is via the USB cable that should have come supplied with your phone, if not, you should be able to get one from a decent mobile phone retailer. There should also have been a disk with your phone and cable, it should upload easily into your laptop and make things just a little easier, however, you may be able to upload the pictures straight from your phone into the windows picture manager thing once you have plugged the cable in.
Do you have T-mobile? If so you can send it as a picture message to 222, and it goes to your album. Then you would go http://www.t-mobilepictures.com/myalbum and then just sign in. Click on the picture to view the full size, then right click on it and then on save picture as.
