Teamspeak or ventrillo are popular ones. However you need servers for it. But you can always join other people’s servers.

The problem with most of them, and I did *extensive* testing before deciding on one, is that the audio quality isn’t the best, or the server isn’t always up. I settled on Skype for both of those reasons – great audio and always there.
