    I would disagree due to the limited specs of the wii the linux os environment is quite limited. However using softmods on the wii gives it a lot of additional functionality in regards to emulators and backups. The ps3 can do emulators, back ups… not so much.

    that only lets people with ps2 compatible ps3s use harddrive based games like Final Fantasy XI. It does not let you do anything ps2 related if you do not own a ps3 that already supports the ps2.
