I did some research before purchasing the Revo iBlik Wifi Internet Radio, we cannot recieve any decent FM reception in the kitchen and was really looking for a decent DAB Radio with IPod Dock so Mrs B can charge and listen to Ipod, i came across this little beauty and took a gamble based on some negative reviews. Well how good is this, the radio was set up via my wifi broadband connection in 5 mins and i was scanning radio stations from all over the place, yes this part can be a tad tedious however if you read the manual and register your iBlik on the internet you can add radio stations to your favourites its once registered the stations you add tranfer automatically to the iBlick how cool is that !
Sound Quality is ok nothing special however this is a kitchenn radio and im not looking for outstanding quality, the readio reception is excellent and buffers really quick, has never dropped connection once. To say i am impressed is an understatement this is a fantatsic idea for anyone who struggles with radio reception and who has a wireless broadband connection. Compared to over priced DAB radios this wins hands down for me. The only slight niggle i have and i have not fully read the manual yet is i cannot see how you can adjust and base or treble however what i have listened to for now has been fine and dont let this put you off, cracking radio for bedroom / kitchen.

I have been using this product for a while now and it suffers from constant drop outs. In all fairness this is probably because it’s far away from my router. If this unit had ‘N’ wireless technology it might have made a difference. I did try using a Home Plug too and the results were pretty similar, but that is due to my wiring I think! Not a good start if I can’t connect!
Aside form that I found the unit has poor sound quality and I’m no audiophile! Even my guests commented that you can’t hear the words in songs or speech clearly on the radio. This problem is particularly noticeable on certain stations like GCAP. As has also been mentioned, Radio 1’s output volume is low so you have to crank it up, change station and it’s far too loud. More an issue with the Beeb but auto volume limiting could have helped?
The music streaming menu system is dire! Previous reviewers have also commented that trying to find tracks is a ‘mare and a half! Unless they are perfectly named/named to the unit’s liking!
The remote is cheap and I agree the aerial is cheap and nasty! No external aerial can be connected!!
The unit has numbered presets, but as far as I’m aware that is only for FM and not assignable to web radio stations as I would have hoped.

I would love to recommend this as Revo are Scottish but I cannot find anything to recommend about this unit. It looks cheap, it sounds cheap and mine did not really work! Set up was easy but it kept stopping when playing for a few seconds every few minutes. Then when it was switched on it had lost its connection and would sit for minutes trying to find any network. Eventually when switched on and off a few times it would connect.
Internet radio is brilliant but this is not the way to get it!
Fortunately I got my money back!

After lots of research I bought one of these and was so impressed that I bought another two for our children. Good quality sound and easy to use. Wifi setup was easy and no problems with BT broadband. Having fun listening to local radio from where we used to live and where we have been and are going on holiday. FM works fine, iPod dock and remote works OK and there is also a socket and cable to play other MP3’s players and phones etc through the Revo. Even plays music over the Wifi from my PC in the other room and the kid’s play their laptop music libraries through it too. Amazing piece of kit. I don’t usually write reviews but I am so pleased and really recommend these radios. MJ from Oxford.

I have recently been given this for my birthday and I am very pleased with it indeed.
I live near Paris and was keen to get a wifi radio to help me keep in contact with all things Anglais.
Very easy to set up, only took 5 minutes to connect to my wifi network and find the radio stations i wanted. within 30 minutes i had tried my ipod on it and streamed music from my PC. Spound quality is great and the radio stations are very clear. It is also great to be able to listen to podcasts without my ipod or laptop.
Overall a great piece of kit. well done to everyone at Revo.
