I’ve had one for about 8 months – and to say that I’m happy with it is an understatement !
Advantages
The battery life is amazing – this is the first laptop/netbook I’ve owned where you find yourself working away without worrying about whether there is a power outlet around.
Usability – My wife (who prior to us buying this wouldnt be the most computer savy) uses this everyday – and has never asked me a question on how to use it !
Keyboard and Touchpad are of great build quality – and I don’t think we have had to plug a mouse into it once.
Screen is nice – and viewing angles are not a problem (with a lot of netbooks – it can be hard to see the screen from a angle) – however not with this.
USB charging port is also useful
Disadvantages
You need to buy extra ram – this is easy to fit however it should come as standard.
Sound – speakers on it are poor – so you will either need to use headphones or plug in a speaker if you are playing media.
The operating system (windows 7 starter) is fast and pleasant to use when you are doing basic tasks – however – its a disgrace that it isn’t a full windows version – if feels a bit like trialware – also most of the applications are trialware.
A back lit keyboard would have been nice

Got this 4 my girlfriend she loved it, but says that it is a bit slow I am not an expert on computers so I don’t know if netbooks would really be slower then normal laptops or pc. It is a bit slow the one I got, battery is really good.

Arrived on time and all in one piece. Please note that this comes with a pouch/case so don’t buy an alternative one until you seen the one included.
This netbook works well, does all I want it to do – a few too many sample programmes that are only trials – popping up all the time. But overall I am pleased with this.

My daughter tells me she is delighted with the N140 but already a the tasks on the machine are taking longer than when it was new. She loves the long battery life as she always forgets to plug it in. The look of the machine is seemingly “to die for” and she now feels in with the “incrowd”.

My bf bought this for me for x-mas. I absolutely love it. Being a bit of a techno phobe I have found this easy to use, and to be honest he has had to fight to get me off it. Bought for me to take travelling. This is incredibly light, discreet especially when in carry case, and has great keys. My only gripe is sometimes I find the screen and text size a bit small as I need glasses, but thats part of buying a netbook I guess. Otherwise this is my favourite present ever
