Also dont always look at the 2MB or 8MB speeds as these are not entirly accurate, there is something called the Quality of the the broadband which gives a more accurate and faster speed ( i forgot the name , summit to do with ping time aswell) ) . ie a 8MB connection can be faster than a 16MB . The cheapest possible option for you is Talktalk from Carphone Warehouse. They take over your line (at 10.50 a month), charge you £5.89 a month for their talk2 tariff (free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines and 36 international destinations) and on condition you have this, they throw in the 8meg braodband free. Only bad bit is a 29.99 connection fee, but its a small price to pay for the savings you'll make. Alternativley if you have and orange mobile contract of £30 a month or more, they will charge you £5 a month for 8meg broadband but again you have to pay the landline to BT. hope this helps.
