What is the best Linux for online media?

Ive been wanting to get a Linux operating system but i dont know which one to pick. Im looking for one that doesnt get all choppy when watching for example Youtube. But im still looking for one with the features of Ubuntu with like all that animation stuff. I just need one thats good with both onlne media and media stored on your computer and with all the cool fancy stuff that Ubuntu has. Could someone please suggest one?
